I have been to England many times. I usually go in the
summer but this year I went during winter break. I usually travel to England
with my parents and my older brother. We travel by British Airways. The
flight is nine hours long, however it is usually delayed and takes ten and a
half hours. We stay in Hertfordshire, a town just
outside of London. Most of my mother’s side of the family lives there, so we
either stay in my grandmother’s house, or my aunt’s house. I have lots of
fun, because where we stay is a small town and there isn’t many cars, my
cousins and I can walk to town or just hang out at the empty garage place
(even though we aren’t supposed to go there). Also, because it was Christmas
when I last went there, I received a lot more presents than I usually do.
Before we go on the trip, I am really excited. I usually pack the day
before the trip because I am lazy. After the trip is over, I am sad because
I miss my family that lives in England and because I always have so much fun
there with my cousins. However, I am very happy to see my cat and dog again
and to be back in my house. Although I love going to England, there is no
place like home. |
